Mid-Motor FWD Assembly Kit for Drivers Who Want Something Different

Carisma announces the M40F, a new 1/10 mid-motor front-wheel-drive assembly kit in the M40 series.

Why we built it

Every few years, Carisma runs a special off-the-chart development program for the R&D team. Most of these projects stop after the prototyping stage. Once in a while, one stands out. The M40F is that project.

The recent launch of the Honda FL5 Civic Type R created a lot of interest in a proper FWD chassis to pair with Honda Civic bodies. That demand gave the project a clear purpose: build a front-wheel-drive car that feels different, works with 190 mm bodies, and is enjoyable to assemble and drive.

The M40F is positioned for hobby customers who want a fresh FWD experience, not for the hardcore racing class. It is an assembly kit, so customers install their own motor, ESC, servo, radio and battery. This gives shops a flexible product that pairs easily with existing electronics, Civic-style bodies and 190 mm wheel and tyre inventory.

Motor, ESC, shorty servo, radio system, shorty battery, 190 mm body, 24 mm tyres, 12 mm hex wheels, shock oil.
Tools needed: 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm and 2.5 mm hex drivers.
